Michael and Emily’s wedding at The Grand Hotel Resort and Spa in Fairhope, Alabama, was more than just another job. From Real Estate to Romance
Michael and Emily’s story began in Naples, Florida. Emily was house hunting when a friend introduced her to Michael, a local realtor. What started as a business relationship quickly turned into something more. At the rehearsal dinner, they joked about it being a “conflict of interest,” but clearly, fate had other plans.

Their spring wedding was classic Southern charm at its best. Despite a cloudy sky, the rain held off long enough for an outdoor ceremony on the Grand Lawn and Julep Point. The calm bay waters behind them created a dreamy, peaceful atmosphere.

A Sweet Surprise Down the Aisle
One of the most unforgettable moments? Just after their first kiss, Emily’s dog came running down the aisle to greet them. It was a sweet, spontaneous moment that brought smiles all around. Though their furry bridesmaid didn’t make it to the reception, her surprise appearance was unforgettable.

Thick clouds meant we missed golden hour portraits, but the first look by the lagoon was nothing short of magical. The setting—hanging oaks, calm water, ducks gliding by, and the gentle splash of a fountain—felt like something out of a fairytale. It was the perfect backdrop for intimate bride and groom portraits.
